Dr. Matthew Paldy
I’m a New York psychotherapist offering in-person and virtual sessions for individuals and couples. I work with people facing anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, loneliness, grief, trauma, academic stress, burnout, and uncertainty about the future. Some come in crisis; others are functioning on the outside but feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, self-critical, or caught in painful patterns they can’t seem to change.
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all method. I work with the whole of who you are—your thoughts, emotions, history, relationships, identity, and hopes for the future. My goal is to help you better understand what you’re struggling with, draw on your strengths, and move toward meaningful change with compassion, empathy, and insight.
As a Licensed Psychoanalyst with a PhD in Organizational Behavior and experience in both academic and professional settings, I bring clinical depth along with an understanding of the pressures that can come with school, work, and relationships. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out for a consultation.
