Much of my clinical experience has been working with college aged individuals. I have an affinity for working with neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. My primary orientation is psychodynamic therapy. I also utilize Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and hold advanced training in the Flash Technique. My clinical interests include codependency, C-PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, body image, and disordered eating. I am Poly/Kink affirming and my approach aligns with the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES). In our sessions, we will explore how early experiences and relationships have shaped how you see yourself and others. I believe that true healing happens in the context of a safe and authentic relationship with a shared sense of purpose. My approach is collaborative, open, and direct. As a former West Chester University Division II athlete, I understand firsthand the mental load that comes with high performance, pressure, and pushing through—even when you’re not okay. That lived experience helps me support clients who are navigating high expectations, both in sport and in life. Adjustments can often be challenging, the transition to college certainly being one of them! These transitions can frequently disrupt our usual patterns of thinking and behavior. My professional experience has found that having an interested, empathetic, and active listener as a therapist can be extremely beneficial in assisting not only with these difficult times, but also with unforeseen situations bound to occur in the future. Having undergone advanced training in both psychodynamic psychotherapy as well as psychopharmacology, I use the two to assess and treat a wide range issues. This ability to have your therapy and medication managed by the same provider is frequently of added benefit. My office is conveniently located in the Rittenhouse Square section of Center City Philadelphia, within walking distance of a variety of public transportation options. While I do not accept any insurances, Medicare, or Medicaid, I am happy to assist with any paperwork for receiving out-of-network reimbursement.

I support clients to shift from intellectualizing into more experiential understanding of your emotions, body, and life experiences. I am a licensed clinical social worker and psychodynamic psychotherapist with advanced training and extensive clinical experience with adults. I enjoy working with both men and women of college age and beyond to help them better understand and cope with a wide range of emotional issues and concerns that may create personal stress, anxiety, depression, confusion or low self- esteem. In addressing these issues they are better able to handle the demands of school as well as their relationships with friends and family. I help those who are feeling stuck, trapped, confused & need help making sense of everything that is going on so that they can put it into words and grow. My therapy is a safe space for those who need support. My practice is trauma informed and non judgemental. My practice is also anti racist, sex positive, LGBTQIA+ competent, and gender affirming. I have a history of working with artists, college students, mothers, sex workers, people of color, queer and trans community, & people who struggle with anxiety & trauma. IOP Sanare Today is an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides group treatment for individuals in crisis or who are struggling with maintaining emotional stability. We offer both mental health and substance use groups. Groups are held 4 days a week to provide more support and direction than traditional outpatient care. IOP groups are provided separately for adolescents and adults. The IOP is an effective step down transition for individuals coming out of a hospital or as a preventive measure to inpatient treatment. Each group session runs for 2 ¼ hours. Family support groups are scheduled weekly or every other week. Sanare Today offers day and evening programs in several different office locations. Life Coaching Sanare Today also offers life coaching. Sanare Today Life Coaching provides guidance for day to day living as well as therapeutic technique implementation. It involves working with adolescents and adults struggling to thrive at their ideal capacity. The core process involves mainly individual, but at times, group sessions. The coaching plan is determined through the collaboration of the client, the coach and the referring provider (if applicable). Each session runs for a total of 60 minutes, unless predetermined otherwise. Sanare Today Life Coaching is designed for individuals who would benefit from more experiential services instead of, or in addition to, traditional mental health or substance use treatment. Life coaching is an effective step down from the intensive outpatient program and an effective addition to individual, one-on-one treatment.
